Greetings fellow Fargo Legion Baseball Fans
We would like to give you an update on our accomplishments over the past several seasons.
To complement our beautiful ball park, we now have a top notch varsity locker room. Our “Sponsor a Locker Campaign” was a huge success. Thank you to all who donated to this worthy cause. It was fun to read the comments that alumni made about their fond memories of playing ball at Jack Williams Stadium. We invite you to stop by this summer to watch a game and see the new locker room.
The Booster Club has also purchased a new sound-mixer control panel for the press box. It has made a huge improvement to the quality of the sound at the stadium, not to mention it is much easier to use than the old setup was.
The Booster Club purchased the poly fence cap for the fences around the ball field. This fence cap will make it safer for players when they make a play near the fence.
Check out the Roger Maris gardens. The Booster Club sponsored the improvements found in the display case. This is a nice tribute to Roger Maris and the new signage looks great.
The new website was in partnership with the Post 2 program. The Booster Club contributed 50% of the setup costs to get the new site in place.
With the addition of the 3rd team this year, the Booster Club purchased all of the name plates for the players so each player in all 3 locker rooms has their name on their locker.
We had a great year last year and we look forward to bigger and better projects again this year.
